motivational monday

My last semester ever is beginning tomorrow (as well as my internship this Wednesday) and, I'm not going to lie, I am slightly on the verge of complete and utter petrification (you know you're in trouble when words need to be created for your feelings!). But even when I am freaking out on the inside there's this tiny, itty bitty voice inside that is jumping for joy knowing it'll all work out. Yes, it will get hard, it will sometimes be lonely & tiresome, or filled with a lot of waiting, but all of our dreams can & will happen (I sincerely believe it!).

One of my favorite Dr. Seuss stories is "Oh, the Places You'll Go!" It's a mixture of motivation, truth, & fun all in one. But, most of all, it is a fantastic reminder that your life really is your choice, your decision-- just yours (you'd be surprised how much we can forget that). You are the one moving the mountains, and you are the only one that can make it happen. Don't ever, ever think that you are not good enough to try or that you don't deserve it. It may not be as easy as it is for others, or easy at all, but it will be worth it. Never forget-- you have the brains, the ambition, the strength, and the choice to make it happen, so don't over think it, don't stress about it, don't let the fear of the unknown make you petrified to go on, or even begin-- go move your mountain!
